Gratuitous Noel Fielding pic for everyone:

Noel. In Rock Guitarist mode. That is all.

Is it a bit odd that I love Noel Fielding?!

He’s got lovely eyes I have to say!!

TansyVioletta · 29/09/2017 13:56

He's a sweetie

HeyRoly · 29/09/2017 14:04

Here's my favourite Mighty Boosh scene. The phrase "bullshit munchers" is part of my vocabulary to this day Grin

I'm middle age and I think he is lovely, in a I'd love to adopt him way. He is so lovely on Bakeoff, like a walking hug.

MargoLovebutter · 29/09/2017 14:09

Nooooo, I love him too. He has renewed my interest in bake off, just wish he appeared a bit more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notinmybackyard · 30/09/2017 12:15

I read/heard somewhere that his natural hair colour is blonde. I'm a fan too, I can't imagine him with blonde hair.

TansyVioletta · 30/09/2017 12:22

Noel Fielding blonde

Is it a bit odd that I love Noel Fielding?!
mummaCL · 30/09/2017 17:33

I'm far too old for him, he's my guilty pleasure!!

Thingvellir · 30/09/2017 19:38

'Would you like a Fielding fondle' (in place of a Hollywood handshake) cracked me up. He seems genuinely lovely on bake off 😊 But I just don't get the Mighty Boosh, I've tried...

Elledouble · 30/09/2017 19:47

I've loved him for years! I met him about 12 years ago outside a gig and he talked to us for ages and was really really nice. He's a good chap Smile

Cin3ma · 30/09/2017 19:49

He's adorable! I want him to be my friend and hang out with him and have silly laughs. Lovely bloke Grin.

JustMe77 · 30/09/2017 20:05

I still love Boosh and my dd's now 20 and 22 love it too we even had the audio cds in the car when they were younger lol.

buddles · 30/09/2017 20:46

I love him too! (And Noel Fitzpatrick Grin) Loved him for years but Bake Off has definitely reignited my love for him. DH and I recently rewatched all of the Boosh and now we have 5 year old DS quoting it and singing 'eels' and the the hitchers song to much hilarity

Babymamamama · 30/09/2017 20:54

Few years ago he used to wander up and down my road (it does have shops, cafes etc so he wasn't doing anything too wierd). He always used to look a bit embarrassed but friendly. Has a slight rock star look about him in person. Not my cup of tea but I like him on bake off.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 30/09/2017 21:08

I read/heard somewhere that his natural hair colour is blonde.

I'm pretty sure we saw him as a blond in the IT Crowd - there was an episode where we saw his "history" (Up and coming young successful city guy - suit, red braces, tie with a big knot, gelled back fair hair, briefcase etc) - then he accidentally discovered "the music" and the next day was the Richmond that we all know and love Grin

Ladydepp · 30/09/2017 23:49

A friend of mine knew him quite well a good few years ago and said he really is as nice as he seems on telly.

I confess I don't fancy him but he's very welcome at my imaginary dinner party. Grin

AutumnalLeaves38 · 30/09/2017 23:49

The man somehow even gives off a certain sexiness whilst performing an entire Comic Relief parody dance routine, for crying out loud.

Few could pull that off!
(He's so sweet and self-effacing: "I just didn't want to let Kate Bush down"...bet she loved it as much as the rest of us, Noel).

iklboo · 30/09/2017 23:59

He's really sweet. I think he's lovely.

NotAgainYoda · 01/10/2017 10:59

Polly

He is not far off middle-aged himself (44)!

I saw him in small gigs well before The Might Boosh was on Telly. And I was in my early 20s. Went on stage and had to have a colander on my head with wires sticking out

NotAgainYoda · 01/10/2017 11:06

Autumnal

Thanks for the link. It was brilliant. I think he is a testament to the strange ways of sexual attraction. He's loverly

Snog · 04/10/2017 08:49

I used to like him but feel he has gone flat and colourless and middle aged in GBBO. No idea why he thought that was a good show to join!

JessiCake · 04/10/2017 09:26

Love him.

Friend met him randomly in Covent Garden a few years ago and he was utterly lovely apparently, did selfies and chatted to her for ages even though he was just browsing the shops and would have been entitled to a bit of privacy.

He comes across very very well on GBBO I think, not rip-roaringly hilarious but funny and sweet and kind.

awaynboilyurheid · 04/10/2017 09:47

I didn't get the humour at all before, even tho my daughters love him but have been warming to him in the bake off and last nights joke about desperate Dan getting a lift from his brother Desperate Ian had them and me in stitches. I'm now a convert !

ExileinGuyville · 04/10/2017 09:55

He was lovely and witty on the last series of Taskmaster, he's tamer on Bake Off but seems very genuine.
