Goodbye Jenni Barnett - Last Good Food Live on UKTV FOOD on Friday...

I know we sound like a pair of saddos but DH really enjoy this programme and we're really going to miss Jenni. We've been watching it for years. Will anyone else feel similarly bereft? Anyone any ideas what Jenni might do next?

awwwwwwww nooo dh watches it too, is it finishing completely or are they replacing her? She made the programme imo, been wathing since it started yrs ago. Its the mainstay of uktvfood hmmm????

I used to watch this but have stopped since I realised that watching food all day may have a damaging effect on my waistline! She is an excellent presenter, very, very comfortable in front of the camera and I would not be suprised to see her on more mainstream tv soon.

Think there replacing it with a new daily show with Gordon Ramsay's wife and Tom Parker Bowles . Apparantly years ago, Jenni Barnett breast-fed her daughter live on GMTV. She's an icon!

I've searched the UKTV food site - where there are hundreds of protest posts incidentally - but can't find a statement/answer anywhere..

Oh no - she's great! I love the way you really believe she enjoys the food she's tasting, she just tucks in. I remember her from an early evening 'magazine' type show she used to do with Danny Baker. She's just so genuine.
And I missed it today!
