I need a light hearted thread today!

And just wondering if I can get a better idea of what some of you MNers are really like....

I think I'm a combination of Bree (scarily tidy!) and Lynette - total chaos where ds is concerned!

I wish so much I was Gabrielle though. Rich and self centred. That's what I aspire too

Wish I was more like Bree - tidy and able to make food that looks so good every evening. but with a dh that just puts anything everywhere and dd in the house it's not likely.

Do you watch the 10:00 show and then the following one at 11:00?

I aspire to be Bree, try to compromise and be Lynette and usually end up looking as daft as Susan...

Yes if I can stay awake I watch both! I love it.

(But obviously if I do stay awake then I have to wait round 'til 11pm the next week iyswim! )

I Sky Plus the 11pm episode so don't have to stay up. I am so much like Lynette - I also have a DH who I love to bits but who I boss around a bit too much and he lets me, bless him. But he does put his foot down when I get out of hand just like Tom does. I have no kids yet though but totally see myself like her, with three or four with just a few years between them, totally harrassed and hankering after my formerly ordered work life! (She has gone back to work now of course but when the series first started she was SAHM)

Susan gets on my nerves - can anyone have that much bad luck and be that stupid? Love Dougray Scott though - yum!

I would love to be Lynette; compared to me she's so gutsy & sorted.Her house hold is far more organised than mine - and she has a job. (As DH points out nobobdy would employ me!)
Why would anyone want to be Bree? She's so brittle and, well anal.And she has no life beyond her picket fence.
If I'd been born pretty I might have ended up like Gabrielle.

No I wouldn't want to be Bree either (although my sisters say I am like her cos I am a bit anal - not as bad as that though!)

I think the for bree is purely her cooking skills for me!

I would have to be another lynette/susan mix.
All the chaos all of the time.
My boys are better behaved though (so far!!)

Dh and I are a bit like Lynette and Tom. We always ROFL at their bits and throw each other a look because we are very similar.

I wouldn't want to be any of them actually.

And I love watching all of them apart from Edie who seems much less compelling than the others.

My favourites are Lynette and Bree. They're just such fabulous caracatures and so well acted.

I think the point is, there is some of all of them in us.

I'm a shopper like Gabrielle - I like nice stuff and I buy lots of clothes and shoes and always have my make up on.

I'm a bit obsessive like Bree - not to her extent but I like things 'just so' and done my way.

I'm a bit like Lynette - I dominate the household, run it and make most of the rules and I work as well. It's the husband wife relationship that is similar.

The only one I'm nothing like is Susan. I'm not in the least bit ditzy like she is.

I would love to hace the attitude (and body) of Gabrielle, and the orgaisation skills of Bree.

There is no Bree in me what so ever!
