I'm not sure of Ulrika going through. The other challenges of the episode don't seem to be taken into account.

I was hoping for Barney and Ulrika but seeing her abandoned puppy face I don't want to see her go through it.

I hope she's feeling stronger in the next round.

Apart from her face just what has happened to Ulrika? She's like a rabbit caught in the headlights and her spark has well and truly gone.

I didn't think Ulrika deserved to go through when the lamb she supposedly cooked before was raw.

My husband said "I bet she'll win". Well if she does my foot will be going through the tv screen.

Having done some discreet googling, I see that Ulrika has had what sounds like a very tough time indeed with a degenerative back condition that has left her in significant pain for some years. And I don't think the tabloids have been especially kind quelled surprise

So I can see now why she seems fragile. She has talked openly about this so I don't think I'm splurging any secrets.

missed ist haf hour last coswe started watching the celeb motor home thing on CH 5. now That was good, thought it would be a bit boring but I love Melvyn Hayes and Nick Heyward.

Can I join you all? I really liked Asma but I think the producers had to let Ulrika through - don't think she could have coped with the knockback. Mind you, her fish stew looked fab last night so with hindsight and all that.
I remember watching a documentary about her childhood in Sweden - was so sad. I hope she goes far.
Lesley is a trendier, more talented version of Jane McDonald - both are irredeemably naff - but Lesley is slightly less 1970's Northern club circuit than Jane.
WTF happened to Nick Moran? Glad he's gone - what an earnest, puffed-up prat he is. I suspect anger issues.

Lesley's only getting through because she's shattering the other contestants' nerves to pieces with her constant shrieking! It's a wonder that more plates haven't been dropped. That bit from 43 minutes or so where she was warbling 'You' ll never walk alone' into Moran's face has to be one of the funniest clips I've ever seen from anything - one by one the chefs storming out when they saw her, followed by Nick.

Reminds me of when Hyacinth Bucket used to 'sing at' Emmet and the vicar!

Unfortunately Lesley's "enthusiasm" does make her seem like a better version of Jane McDonald but she is actually a genuine, highly acclaimed opera singer, not the kids entertainer she behaves like

davros did you hear her rendition of the National Anthem when Bradley Wiggins won the Tour in 2012 , she can't sing, I think if pushed I'd rather listen to Jane Mcdonald

Right, I've caught up now after a marathon three hour binge.

Good to see Ulrika back on TV. I thought she looked good for being 49 with four kids, but so lacking in confidence and she seemed really sad. She was given a very underserved hard time in the past by the press, IIRC. I hope she goes on to win it.
