Im new to netflix - so far watched stranger things and the oa. And lots of chessy romance films! Give me some good suggestions as there is too much choice - takes me about half an hour to find a film!

House of Cards.

Been binge watching these and am halfway through the 4th season. It's so good.

This will seem like a bizarre suggestion but: Terrace House. It's a Japanese reality tv show and oddly compelling. The commentators are probably the best bit.

I had to turn The Santa Clarita Diet off,it was too gorey! I live Walking Dead but this was too grim!

Frankie and Grace is great for comedy.

The Killing if you like a bit of Scandi noir.
The Good Wife and the Crown as others have said. Grace and Frankie is brilliant for gentle light relief.

Last Chance U is (surprisingly) good. I say this as someone who loathes American football.

DH and I hated Dirk Gently though. We just found it painful and cringeworthy. FIL loved it though (we sat through it for that reason).
