This story was discussed briefly a little while ago but I think the thread might have been deleted.

It's so very tragic and worse still is neither of them show any remorse.

Oh and it's plain and simple.

A boy murdered two people he didn't know.

I'm out.

and the execution of the crime !

Edwards planned and manipulated Markham in to carrying out the crimes, in much the same way that Manson manipulated Patricia Krenwinkel i.e 'just wanted to be loved'.

They were both found guilty of the double murder.

The boy was under the control of the girl. He wouldn't have done it had she not agreed and been complicit in it.

They were both convicted of murder Elendon

To quote the judge: “This was an entirely joint offence. You were in it together from the beginning. You conceived of the killings together. You planned it together, you re-planned it when you failed to carry it out the first and second time, you carried it out together, step by step. Whilst you, Lucas, did the actual killings, you, Kim, willed it to happen and assisted all the way through. Both of you are perfectly intelligent and knew exactly what you were doing."
