Did anyone see this programme ?
DH and I were astonished.
They called it controversial.
Yes it was.
Why ?
Because it isn't really very successful.
The 55 stone man had been there for 4 yeras.
Not lost a pound.
Kept cheating - ordering pizzas and chinese teakeaways.
Refused to exercise.
So what is the point.
Surely the manager should give a deadline.
Say.... if I don't see an improvement in 6 months... your're out.
They had thousands of phone calls , everyday, from people desperate to get in, or desperate to get their children / husband/ sister in.
Imagine how you would feel, if you couldn't get in, but you knew that he had been allowed to stay for 4 years, with no change and no effort on his part.
You would be LIVID.
Is this place contraversial.
Yes , because this softly, softly approach is in-effective and thus a waste of time , money and energy.
Am I the only one who thinks this ?
Surely not.
