Just finished episode 1. I loved the first 2 seasons then thought season 4 came back up to speed. I'm not really sure what Francis is trying to achieve in this episode (the popular vote obvs) and he just seems to be almost a caricature of evil. I can't see him lasting long...

Anyone else seen?

I'm the same Cocolepew I keep having to pause it and google US politics to get an idea of who does what and all the terminology. I'm on episode 7 now but I've managed to read a major upcoming spoiler while I was googling a previous storyline to remind myself of what happened. 😖

Just finished watching loved it and how amazing was the character of Jane Davis - Patricia Clarkson was brilliant.

I am so confused by this series and to be honest I don't really know what's going on.

Who is he blonde lady with curly hair and why has she turned up and all of a sudden has so much access?

Mark usher - again a new character yet very heavily linked to the plot - he's in the opposition so I don't see why he would be working with the Underwoods, and so much screen time is devoted to him?

The bloke in Russia, where did that come from all of a sudden?

I'm so lost.

Have watched 3 episodes so far. Yes it is good but I have to be in the mood for it's casual and banal darkness. Claire is incredibly chilling - more so than the others I think. Like the way she summons that guy to go to bed with when she feels like it and tells Frank, and he's cool about it. Never watched anything quite like it. The theme tune is similarly bleak and empty. It's well done.
