There's a line in Breaking Bad where they actually spoiler what happens with Jimmy's relationships. I'm not sure whether to post it as it's not really a spoiler if it's already been on!

Anyway, love the show. I think I'm getting a crush on Jimmy. I also squealed at the return of Huell.

EatsLeavesAndShit · 24/05/2017 22:50

Has anybody seen the latest episode?

Dingdong what did they say in Breaking Bad about Jimmy's relationships? I must have missed that.

The timeline is a bit confusing, how many years before Breaking Bad are we now? I'm starting to worry about Nacho because he wasn't in BB. Hopefully he made millions and ran away to Mexico where he happily lives a crime-free life with his wife and 3 children

Early years of Jimmy's career so could easily have been over a decade before BB. I also remember a line about Jimmy's relationships which would suggest that the time line is a long long time ago. If DingDong is thinking of the same quote that I remember, then I don't think it's much of a spoiler as it could be the case that Kim was neither of the two relationships inferred.

Nacho was referenced in Breaking Bad when Walt and Jessie kidnapped him.

Saul mentions two ex wives in Breaking Bad.

I absolutely love Nacho. He's so intense and, well, hot.

I was hoping to find out who Chuck was calling in the previous episode, but that wasn't addressed this week.

PanGalaticGargleBlaster · 30/05/2017 22:25

Big fan of the show but the characters just look way older then when in BB despite it being set a decade or so earlier. Poor Mike looks ancient!

Ellisisland · 01/06/2017 19:24

I loved the end of the last episode with Jimmys smirk as he walked away. You can se him becoming more and more the BB Saul Goodman rather than Jimmy. Though when you think back to the beginning of season 1 Jimmy has been knocked down and got back up so many times it's amazing he got this far without wanting some form of personal revenge!
Agree about Nacho - would love him to end the series happy! I saw an interview with the creator who said the Nacho SG mentions in the clip above is the same as the Nacho in BCS so at least we know he is around I guess.
Love this series, was gutted there was no new episode this week Grin

Lottapianos · 01/06/2017 19:33

I love BCS too! Wonderful acting all the way through, especially in the courtroom episode. I agree that seeing Gus and Lydia outside the laundry was like getting a big hug! I even enjoyed seeing Don Eladio a few weeks ago

It is painfully slow though, and there are not enough scenes between Saul and Mike. They are just great together. And I'm itching to know more about Saul's new life working in Cinnabon

EatsLeavesAndShit · 09/06/2017 22:11

Has anybody seen the latest episode?

Maybe (definitely) I'm just rubbish with faces but today I realised that the drug dealer who Nacho beat up in the kitchen ( Sad ) a couple of episodes ago was Krazy 8 from Breaking Bad.

HopelesslydevotedtoGu · 09/06/2017 22:28

I am loving this show.

However unlike pp I'm really not liking Kim that much. Her character just seems a bit flat to me, I can't figure out why she is committed to Jimmy, I feel like she needs more depth to explain her decisions?

Still really enjoying the show, in particular the Mike scenes. I loved when he took the annoying guy's gun in the car park in season 1, fantastic.

And really enjoying the Gus back story.

Chuck has been so nasty, I would like to see his character become more likeable.

Howard is such a bizarre character. Always speaks as if he's prepared and rehearsed a little set piece. I know someone in real life who does this! I feel like there is more coming with his character, Kim's dislike of him is deeper than just over the Document Review incident, and he was enabling Chuck's illness for so long, did he have some benefit eg enjoying running the firm himself?

Tunnocksmallow · 21/06/2017 23:10

Omg that ending!!!

EatsLeavesAndShit · 22/06/2017 08:05

I know!

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE FINALE

DONT READ FURTHER IF YOUVE NOT WATCHED IT

Chuck was such an egomaniac he couldn't stand losing HHM, he was like Walt in that regard; nice seeming, valued member of society, but sociopathic and arrogant deep down.

Nacho lives! So happy, and I love his dad.

Hopelessly I really like Howard! Last night he showed that he would make huge personal sacrifices to preserve the company. He can really turn on and off the charm though, like giving Chuck's retirement speech with a jolly smile, then turning away completely stone faced.

TheJunctionBaby · 23/06/2017 19:00

I'm glad I'm not the only Nacho fan! I was so sure he'd be killed off.... though the way that Fring looked at him as he picked up the dropped pills, I'm worried that he knows something's up and will get him killed somehow - Fring doesn't miss a trick

I am not at all sad about Chuck - though I was surprised at his demise. He had such a hatred for Jimmy and tried to disguise it with some sort of pompous respect for the law. After all Jimmy did for him, he just had this hatred and Jealousy bubbling away. He had to be the only lawyer McGill.

Love BCS!!! I binge watched all of season three whilst doing my laundry and ironing (yes, I have THAT much :-/)

thatone · 07/12/2017 22:27

So glad I found this thread - have binge watched all three series over the past two weeks. The whole series is amazingly good, will now have to watch BB - might be painful though, from what I can tell.
