Anyone care to join me in anticipation of a C4 release date?

Yes really! I would have missed it otherwise. Sky plus'd now and ready to watch in next few days. :)

cushioncovers · 06/06/2017 18:56

Just watching first episode of the new series now.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 07/06/2017 14:13

Off to a good start. Loved the other two seasons.

mrsmildred · 07/06/2017 14:43

Series 3 is set quite a way after S1 (and 2 obv)..has anyone noticed any cross over of characters or stories yet? My muddled brain is remembering two bickering brothers in S2, the mother was a drunk and husband was up to no good and wasn't interested in his family, but IMDB is drawing a blank and I can't remember enough details. It may even have been from S1!

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 07/06/2017 15:40

If only my memory was that goodGrin

PseudoBadger · 07/06/2017 17:27

Apart from the obvious cross over in season 2?

OP posts:
Raahh · 07/06/2017 17:49

Series 3 is set in 2010, 4 years after series 1.

Series 2 was much earlier than both, set in 1979.

Raahh · 07/06/2017 17:50

I love Fargo, but trying to find connections is tying me in knots Grin.

Raahh · 07/06/2017 17:53

I think you saw Molly (from series 1) as a child in series 2.

PseudoBadger · 07/06/2017 18:02

And obviously her dad was in both seasons...

Can someone help me with the opening scene and what relevance it has with the 2010 Ewan Mcgreor storyline ?

PseudoBadger · 10/06/2017 10:34

Ok so the opening scene is someone being accused of being Yuri Gurka. He denies it.
Fast forward, and one of VM Varga's 'employees' is called Yuri Gurka.

Ah I see thanks

2rebecca · 11/06/2017 21:13

I couldn't get in to this at all. I missed the Yuri reference and kept wondering when the KGB were going to turn up and not understanding who everyone was and why there weren't any Germans. Fargo is usually funny.

snoopyokay · 11/06/2017 21:32

I think it's good but keep hearing a little Scottish accent come out here and there from Ewan McGregor!

Funny how they always chose British people to play these parts. Not keen on Martin Freeman but he was good at the accent I have to say!

Dulra · 16/06/2017 09:42

Anyone still watching? I am so disappointed in this series it is as dull as dishwater unless they are just taking their time building the backstories but it needs to get good soon

youngestisapsycho · 16/06/2017 17:45

I'm just watching this weeks episode now..... I'm bored of it and still have 20 mins to go!

PseudoBadger · 16/06/2017 18:54

I will be watching tonight

OP posts:
youngestisapsycho · 16/06/2017 20:38

How many episodes are there?

youngestisapsycho · 30/06/2017 10:47

Anyone still watching....

LurkingHusband · 30/06/2017 12:36

Does anyone else think the Emmit Stussey look is a dead ringer for Dominic West in "The Wire" ?

Not sure how far behind the UK is, but I enjoyed it ... it is "quirky", but the script and performances keep it watchable IMHO.
