Oh, I'm totally confused now!

I really enjoyed it.

Rosie murdered the old lady who has the journals of the weird priest from the 1920's. She did this to spite the new wife. She then got hold of the journals and burned them on a bonfire. The new wife confronted her and Rosie killed her too.

Meanwhile the vicar was bonking the depressed sister of the heroin dealer who lives in Roth House.

Michael the 14 year old boy witnessed the murder and told his mum and Rosie was arrested.

Looks like Rosie was abused from the clip for tomorrow night.

Anyone else thinks this was heavily influenced by Ruth Rendell, especially 'A Fatal Inversion'?

Some similarities:
1.attractive female psychopath
2.young people left a posh house and doing their music/druggy stuff amongst the antiques
3.creepy happenings in woods
4.flashbacks to 15 years earlier.

More cliched than Ruth Rendell; still enjoyed it, though.

What did you all think then?

I thought it was OK but not sure why we needed to see Charles Dance bonking the heroin addict yesterday!

It was all rather odd and the whole priest thing from 1920s was weird tho Sheila Hancock was lovely!

all a bit weird! wanted michael to visit her and confront her or something. Too telegraphed and worked out the plot too early on.. but had to watch to make sure had got it right!!!!
and hasn't charles dance got a remarkable chest for his age? Or was that a stunt double!!!!

I wondered how she had kept her poise and good looks during 15 years or so in a secure mental hospital.
Usually when people come out of prison after a long time they seem very washed out and diminished.

Is the little Rosie Played by Paula Yates's daughter? Her name is Tigerlily Hutchinson. Dh spotted it - I thought the name was Hutchenes though??

Thought the concluding episode was a letdown. I missed the first episode which was meant to be the best of the lot though. Got into the drama on the 2nd one but just expected the 3rd to be gripping, rather than story-telling.

Don't think it was schilke, Paula Yates daughter is very dark haired and prob a bit older than that now I would think.
Did anyone notice at the end they said the first three episodes are available on dvd? Does that mean there will be more possibly going back even furthur to the Francis Youlgreave story???

not sure anyone could have worked out he plot at the begginning. in the clips it looked at it he was dead -not playing a game. also it hinted she had been abused by him.

why did rosie kill him in the end - was she playing the games with him they alway played? im confused. thanks

She killed hin because when they talked about putting him in a home he said he wanted to die.
Oh, and because she was a psychopath

Gorgonzola - he probably only agreed to the part on the condition that he would be straddled by an attractive young woman at some point during the show . Can you tell I'm not overly keen on him?
