Can anyone remind me of the Iwan/Gwen Thomas storyline? I can't remember DCI Mathias having an affair & their daughter dying

Was surprised by the outcome of this! I really thought that Prosser was one of the paedophiles.

Such a good show.

Loved the last episode - so many strands came together. What next for Matthias?!

I’m watching it now in England, the mother, Gwen was killed by the same guy who killed her daughter. The daughter was adopted and the killer was the daughters biological father! He killed Gwen because instead of grieving, his words not mine she took Matthias into her bed. So to him she wasn’t grieving, and he did have a model of her in the bath tub on his model railway

You are not the only one. I can’t remember Tom having an affair or the Gwen Thomas storyline at all. It seems no one does. I’m trying to find out without having to go back and watch episodes because they’re so long. I’m watching on Netflix in the US.
