After Years of TV Watching, I Now Know What I Want ...

I want to get immersed in a series, really believe in the characters, and then have them mess with me. E.g. Friends + the 'what if' episode (Phoebe a businesswoman, Ross still married, Joey a successful actor etc etc). e.g. about 7 different Buffy eps (buffy never came, zander is twins, evil willow, Giles shapechanges, Faith and Buffy switch bodies, etc etc).

Do most series do this sort of thing?

What? Eh? Duuuuuur

ps buffy was just too weird at the end. Shame, the early stuff was fantastic...loved the episode when they turned into their halloween costumes.

Oh, yes, that's another one!

Yes, that's what I mean, when they mess with the reality of the series.

It did fall apart near the end, shocker. I liked Dawn, but the rest, meh.

LOST ROCKS

I do watch Lost, although I've got a bit annoyed with it.

They do certainly enjoy messing with their viewers, though, I'll give them that!

Oh, and the Jonathan episode. Buffy does this a lot.
