Aw, I wanted Max to go through. I think he reminded me of the Manchester Scene (TM) in the late 80s early 90s.
Really don't see the appeal of Into the Ark, they do nothing for me.

Gav did look thoroughly pissed off.

Gav couldn't seem to understand why the public weren't as in love with truly as he clearly is (sorry coco).

General election, Brexit, last night`s The Voice. Democracy is overrated. Gav was right to look pissed off. Except for Mo, all the acts that should have gone through went home.

Ah but now Gav has the perfect excuse to mentor her himself...privately!

i dont think Gavin will come back after this blow to his ego - he really believed in Truely to be the next big thing and it back fired! We were not that impressed with her mate, get over it.

in the real world, life goes on of course.

I kind of wish I'd voted for Max to save him from Gav's dungeon of doom . . .and because I loved the whole Brit pop scene.

Do you think Gavin only thought Truly was going through? I thought he really liked Max in a genuine way

Sausage, gavin threw the other people in his team under a bus for truly. I think he honestly thought by using the tactics he did it would ensure truly would go through. It made me feel very uncomfortable!

Apart from his blinkers (is that the word? )for Truly, I thought Gavin came across as quite a good coach ...but not as good as Ricky who used to get his 'quirky' singers through to the final.

I have finally caught up ( in about 20 minutes)
Blimey- well, firstly, the thread was far better than the show as usual.
Truly was truly awful, Max was like a overgrown 3 year old and Jason was as creepy as usual.

I hope Mo wins now, even if Human got a bit shouty and was just not quite right.

Highlight by far of my JAMC experience was being stood by a couple who were excellent comedy value. The bloke looked like Jason King/70's porn star, cravat, tache, jacket, and the woman was about 8 feet tall and dressed like a secretary in the early 90's, with a green velvet jacket over a dress and flat shoes. She towered above him. He did dad dancing when he thought no one was watching. And at one point he shouted ' we will always have the Mary chain' at which point I nearly wet myself. she then kissed his hand. It was more fun than the band.

Dh and I think they were possibly swingers.

I remembered more of their stuff than I realised I ever knew and they had clearly not practiced their new album much, as the new songs were the ones they stuffed up.

It was a fun night in the end, but my back can't cope with standing so long anymore. I was leaning near the sound engineers. I think they were just pretending to press buttons personally.

And I couldn't see much. Despite it being not that full. But it was ok. I made my own entertainment.

Raahh, sounds awesome. They were defo swingers, the 70s atire is a poss clue.!
You had a better night than us, although ' balloon head boy' made me laugh all last night and most of today. The power of a mn thread.
( i did this trick as a kid, so many happy memories of an essex childhood)
