I'm so excited to see the Love Actually segment for Red Nose Day, i absolutely love the film and would love to see what happens to the characters. I know it's going to be comedic but oh how I wish they would make a sequel!!

OP posts:

The Alan Partridge sketch just included a joke about 'slag's tan' Hmm

ArriettyClock1 · 24/03/2017 20:28

I have never seen all of Love Actually.

DH and I thought it was so awful, we gave up half way through.

Comic Relief is too awful to sit through, anyway.

ShuttyTown · 24/03/2017 20:29

Can anyone let me know how many minutes in the love actually sketch is on please? I'm recording it just for that and will need to fast forward to it!

TheNaze73 · 24/03/2017 20:30

Take That & Alan Partridge have been the only funny things so far.
Hoping Heike Makatsch is in Love Actually Grin

Gladys123 · 24/03/2017 20:30

Blimey this is pants isnt it?

MrsJayy · 24/03/2017 20:32

Romesh whatshisname is dire.graham norton is on after the news might be ok

Ferrisday · 24/03/2017 20:32

Did Alan partridge say twat?
He doesn't make me laugh at all

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 24/03/2017 20:33

This is terrible. I don't remember comic relief being this awkward/non amusing

Ferrisday · 24/03/2017 20:33

Who is the girl presenter

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 24/03/2017 20:36

I think it might be Luisa Omiela but I'm not sure. Had to google it!

NoelHeadbands · 24/03/2017 20:36

I'm not enjoying the new format of the live stuff at all, but some of the sketches have been okay

TBH I've laughed most at the flashbacks to previous years, like Billy Connolly dancing naked round Oxford Circus.

I wish they'd show the smithy/ George Michael sketch

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 24/03/2017 20:36

Luisa Omielan, sorry!

Gladys123 · 24/03/2017 20:37

Enjoyed catherine tate. The biscuit thing is a bit childish.

Embekkisson1 · 24/03/2017 20:38

I think that's the point of Alan Partridge that he doesn't realise he's humour is outrageously cringey and old fashioned . He's supposed to be a sexist backward but goofy presenter of the 1970s .

Ferrisday · 24/03/2017 20:39

Still none the wiser Cuppa!

fluffywuffydoda · 24/03/2017 20:40

Have they got work experience kids in helping or something? The sound is terrible, the sketches granted aren't always brilliant but this year it's just not funny, the whole look is just, well, very amateurish.

I'm guessing someone will be in for the chop after tonight.

Can't wait for Love Actually though.

Rainatnight · 24/03/2017 20:43

Just putting this here about Love Actually. jezebel.com/i-rewatched-love-actually-and-am-here-to-ruin-it-for-al-1485136388

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 24/03/2017 20:43

When's it on?

Can't bear F&S.

MrsJayy · 24/03/2017 20:44

The husband and the daughter are having a barney about the biscuits Hmm

kennypppppppp · 24/03/2017 20:44

I;m flitting and watching the good bits. Micky Flanagan not that good. I keep crying at the love actually trailer. Is it because Liam neeson son has grown up TOOOOOOOOOOOO much. Which is obviously allowed but hey hey. Lenny Henry looks amazing for whatever age he is.

I'm just literally biding my time for chabuddy g and people just do nothing.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 24/03/2017 20:44

They haven't actually said, I assume to trick us into watching the whole show.
I guess perhaps 9pm though?

kennypppppppp · 24/03/2017 20:45

Lauren/ Catherine Tate was bloody funny though. Loving the use of butters and other teen words which I pretend to know what they mean.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 24/03/2017 20:47

Oh my lord.....not sure I can be arsed to wait up...

MrsJayy · 24/03/2017 20:47

Catherine Tate was funny.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/03/2017 20:49

I thought it was crushingly bad and couldn't get any worse until Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer came on. Bloody hell, who thought this was a good idea?
