Was I the last person to know that the woman who play fantastically self-obsessed Wilhemena is Vanessa Williams - singer from 80's who had hit (just the one I think) with "and yooo go and saaave the best till laast"?

Oh you won't BELIEVE the trouble I've had tying to convince DH that Vanessa Williams is black/mixed race. He just thinks that she's American tanned!

She was stunning when she was younger but looks a bit hard now although she is perfect in the role.I love Ugly Betty and never thought i would

i didn't even realise she was black.. just thought it was a cat deeley orange type tan, and I didn't know it was vanessa williams. I love love love UB
