It is so funny and so well observed. The flight simulator scene had me in stitches and I'm really not sure why.

The guy who played Kurtan used to be a model!

I only started watching This Country because I thought it was a real documentary but Kerry and Kurtan sucked me into their wonderful world. There are loads of wonderful moments but one of my favourites was when Kerry thought Kurtan was getting a really good sale on the MLM scheme but he was playing Warcraft or something. It's heartbreakingly funny because she has really thrown her heart into it.

I hope they make another series or go on to do something new together.

I absolutely loved this series. The last one where he turns up at the dump and says he's decided to take a gap year - heartbreaking but so, so funny. Never seen those two before but I hope they do more.

I know this thread is almost a year old but I’ve just rewatched them all and am excited for the upcoming series 2 so wanted to resurrect it to bring the show to the attention of people who’ve yet to see it.

I LOVE this show. My family is from South Cerney - it's spot on. My partner (from a northern city) doesn't 'get' it in the same way. I'm just continuously saying 'this was my life...' and chortling away, he's stony-faced. Hehehe...
