Corrie plot prediction

Now that Jason is getting attached to Holly, I reckon the mother's going to come back. But the twist will be that the father was Charlie, just using Jason's name on his one night stand with the mother. The mother never actually saw Jason when she arrived with baby, iirc.

No inside info, but if I had money I'd put a tenner on it.......

I think I read that in a TV magazine a while back........

Carmenere · 28/02/2007 20:27

Sounds plausible,
Am very amused at the idea of Tech coming on to mn with his Corrie predictions 'spose it wouldn't go down to well down the pub......

Tech · 28/02/2007 20:29

I should really. Was watching last week and said "I bet it turns out it was an electrical fault in the fat fryer" and about 10 seconds later the fireman used the exact same words about the fire in the caff. My friends thought I was telepathic (but am really just a sad old soap addict who enjoys a predictable plot.)

I was wondering the other day about how long they plan the plots in advance. Was also thinking you really wouldn't want a house on the posh side of the street, what with Maxine, Tommy and Charlie all dying and Emily getting her head caved in, and now a UXB all in the space of a couple of years.

I'm getting a little concerned that these more outlandish plots might eventually turn round and bite them (mixing metaphors or summink)

That revenge killing idea is a good one though. Might write in with it.

You know Tech that you could write a plotline covering say the next 3 weeks and involving all the current characters and send it in to them. You never know.

Tech · 28/02/2007 20:39

No, and sadly no longer Holby, Casualty or EastEnders. Something about them just really winds me up. I think it's cos in Corrie the writers put in these little winks to the audience as if to say look we know it's basically tosh too, but it's great isn't it and you sort of smile along. The bbc stuff seems so plodding and obvious these days, you feel talked down to or something watching it. It's a shame though - I used to love the 'enders.

Sadly haven't seen neighbours for about 20 years, except once recently where someone was in the woods with Paul Robinson and had a gun (or something like that was going on). Harold was still in it as well, which is odd because I'm sure he died when I watched it back in the Madge days. I'm presuming he either didn't really die, or they've done something like the Alison / Patricia confusion in Sons and Daughters all over again (now there was a show).

why are you getting your coat?
have you pulled?

Gingerbear · 02/03/2007 12:30

Tech, I presume there is a TV in the shed as well as the mumsnet server?

When are you ever let out?

lol at sobernow's extensive historical knowledge of Neighbours.

JonesTheSteam · 02/03/2007 12:40

I've been saying that about Jason/Holly/Charlie for weeks, but DH doesn't agree!!

LucyJu · 02/03/2007 12:44

I read somewhere a little while ago that Holly will turn out to be Charlie's daughter. So I wonder if that means she is going to inherit the house etc?

themoon66 · 02/03/2007 14:09

So what about Shelly and her baby by Charlie? Shelly could come back and lay claim to her child's sibling perhaps?
