Something feel good for a Sunday night but what has Amanda Redman done to her face? Botox?

SealSong · 05/02/2017 21:50

It's all a little bit high drama so far....I'm reserving judgement.

Ipitythescale · 05/02/2017 21:55

I'm finding myself distracted by her shoes.

Loving it!

dataandspot · 05/02/2017 22:31

Watching on the plus one. Seems very cliched to me.

ENinthePWert · 06/02/2017 15:29

That was my thought too data

specialsubject · 06/02/2017 15:33

as someone said, Death in Paradise meets call the midwife.

sun, scenery (apparently Sri Lanka not India) and nothing too demanding. Works for me in the right mood.

JustDanceAddict · 06/02/2017 18:45

Exactly special v Death in Paradise (that I don't really watch)

Tightarseinleggings · 06/02/2017 19:53

The title doesn't do it for me. Don't know why but it doesnt push my buttons.

Moodykat · 06/02/2017 20:25

I think it was written by the same person as D.I.P.

Aroseforemily · 06/02/2017 21:41

I thought it had a Wild at Heart feel about it.

honeyroar · 06/02/2017 22:04

We turned off after about 20mins, it didn't do it for us.

AstrantiaMajor · 06/02/2017 22:27

It was very dated. It was like a group of amateurs had written it by researching all the old plots of tv soaps.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 08/02/2017 22:18

Exactly and as said, very formulaic Death in Paradise come Wild at Heart Sunday night fodder.

IhatchedaSnorlax · 19/02/2017 13:22

I'm watching it on catch up today & really enjoying it. I've never watched DIP or WAH so can't comment from that perspective but it's perfect lush TV for a Sunday!

Davros · 19/02/2017 18:30

I like DIP and WAH but thought this was pretty awful. I'll try again ...

Rhubarb01 · 19/02/2017 18:39

It's pretty to look, undemanding and doesn't offend me particularly so I expect I'll keep watching.

Groovee · 19/02/2017 19:19

I quite like it for the chilled factor

IhatchedaSnorlax · 20/02/2017 12:51

I think that's what I like too Groovee Grin

hyacinthwannabe · 20/02/2017 13:00

I just watched this. It made me cry. I loved it. That poor man left by his fecker of a son. 😢

IhatchedaSnorlax · 20/02/2017 19:51

I felt sorry for the son actually - what a horrible position to be put in by a virtual stranger.

WandaBack · 23/02/2017 19:05

Aw I love a bit of fluffy Sunday night tv.
It fills that Doc Martin slot.
I love the scenery and backdrop and I want to go to that beach.

MycatsaPirate · 26/02/2017 11:38

I am absolutely loving this series.

I don't watch much TV but decided to watch the first one and I am hooked. I now record it so I can watch it in peace during the week when dd is at school and I have an hour's me time.

It's not high drama but I love all the background scenery and the different stories going on. Perfect sunday viewing.
