We've enjoyed the first series of Sherlock but now I'm struggling to find another series to watch.

Could anyone help please?

Fedarico

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Girlwhowearsglasses · 04/02/2017 17:15

I was about to say Unfortunate Events.

Watching with interest as my 8 and 10 year olds have sped through it and now we want more family quality drama along these lines. Miss Peregrine is good, and they've rediscovered Dr Who and are old enough for it now.

They love Blackadder and Dads Army too.

Thank you for the great suggestions! We'll be checking them out this weekend.

More welcome of course.

Don't know what's on Netflix but DS is 13 and we are racing through Arrow, Flash, Supergirl...We also LOVED The Musketeers.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Singing, dancing, musical fun - slightly relationship-focused but a lot to love.

Scorpion
Dr Who
Heartland - sweet, Canadian drama based on 2 sisters & their grandpa who run a ranch. My 10 & 12.5 DD love the above 3 programs.

Fresh prince of bel air! (Blast from the past)

stitchbitch · 22/02/2017 00:10

Gilmore girls

I really like this show but, in my opinion, it's a bit too adult for a 12 year old.

“I Gave You A UTI” and "Period Sex" are two songs that might be inappropriate.

SuperBeagle · 22/02/2017 03:22

Pretty Little Liars! Smile

Westfox · 22/02/2017 03:32

Watch Stranger Things. It's very good

Freddorika · 22/02/2017 04:02

Gilmore Girls

Same issue here with my 13 year old DD. Really enjoyed Once Upon a Time, Merlin and Touch on Netflix and are looking for more. A lot of Netflix is either too 'kiddie' (unfortunate events) or else it's a 15, and she finds 12 stuff scary enough! Is there is a way on Netflix of blocking 15 and 18 shows on her profile to make it easier to see what's available?

Rollergirl11 · 17/03/2017 21:12

My 11yr old liked Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Very light hearted and funny.

readyforno2 · 17/03/2017 21:17

I know it's been said already..
Pretty little liars

Ours have a kids profile but I can't remember if you can set which certificates it shows to include 12's. Check the parental settings.

The superhero stuff is usually 12 cert so things like super girl, avengers, agents of shield, Thor, flash, some batman etc some are 15 so you need to check but most are 12.

Doctor who is good for that age.
