Apple Tree Yard WITH spoilers (I hope!)

Hello, I'm quite enjoying the programme but would enjoy it even more if I knew what was happening and how it is going to end!

I thought it might be worth seeing if there are other people like me, or who have read the book, and would like a thread were nothing is out of bounds.

If it's not for you, please don't read on!

I have trawled the internet to find out the ending / twist and can't seem to find it.

Is anyone willing to start us off by telling me the ending?

Does anyone else prefer something when they know the outcome? I HATE surprises!

I am wondering about two things: When she she visits Mark in prison. To me the important thing is him saying, "I told them to prove it was real" - he really did love her - he didn't mean to throw her to the wolves. This is not in the book!!

In the book, her husband has deleted her letter to Mark from the computer on her arrest! So he must have known about the affair. This is not in the film.

Oh yes and why the name changes?

It does sound as if the programme has taken out some of the better bits of the book! The ending sounds more dramatic in the book.
