What did people think? I thought there were some funny buts, but it was a bit slower than usual somehow. I did like how aerial shots of the city have been replaced with the suburbs Grin

Hopefully it will get going! I wonder if it'll be a bit like Outnumbered with the children.

You're very welcome! I haven't even watched that show for 15+ years, it's amazing how these things gets lodged in your memory.

RosieBdy · 18/01/2017 09:25

I know - me neither! I could remember the set/layout clearly but could NOT think which sitcom it was! I'd have had that in my head all day trying to work it out if you hadn't known it...

The set of Miranda is the Absolutely Fabulous kitchen set redecorated!

ChessieFL · 18/01/2017 13:02

Miranda's shop that is!

We are just watching on catch up. Lucy has been made to look a bit dowdy.

FruSkogKattOla · 21/01/2017 17:58

I watched it last night (the swearing grandfathers episode!) and thought it was much funnier than the first episode last week.

The Lucy character has always come across as somewhat bland - even in the earlier series.

I always through that It was a vehicle for Lee Mack and the other actors.

Sparklingbrook · 21/01/2017 18:06

I am a bit disappointed it didn't follow on from the last one. I didn't really buy the suddenly having 3 older children thing TBH.

I do love Lee Mack though.

FranHastings · 22/01/2017 23:46

I said it was 2.4 children's set too and DH said it wasn't. I bloody knew I was right!

It made me laugh a bit, but I don't think it's search it out to watch. The hostage one in the department store really put me off ever watching again anyway. I was just curious as to how they suddenly had grown up children!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 23/01/2017 00:04

It's confusing me that she's in Death in Paradise at the moment too!

It isn't really like 2.4 set.. only similar thing is that the stairs are visible...

Fedupofallthemud · 23/01/2017 22:44

I'm really enjoying it so far, it was always one of my favourites and not been disappointed so far. I also love the aerial views of suburbia instead of city.
Lots of it reminds me of my life/marriage/kids which is why I'm enjoying it I think!

Aroseforemily · 25/01/2017 09:44

I really dislike this series, neither of the main characters are likeable. I was looking forward to it coming back but have given up after two episodes.
