Also I agree, was disappointed, not at all what we were expecting, my DC love the book and were looking forward to it. Ended up with us going to bed on Christmas Eve with a bit of a melancholy feeling.
Didn't like the way they did the grandad storyline, it seemed a bit contrived "he liked to sit here and drink his tea with his birdwatching book".
And I also thought the older brother and sister were mum and dad in the book.
