Gladiator

Anybody seen this? Im having trouble following it, due to having eyes shut through most of it.

I've seen it (not watching it now though, so not sure where you're up to). Anything specific you're not clear on (I'll see if I can remember, it's a while since I saw it last)

its very good, bit long winded, my eldest loves it and is watching it again now for the umpteenth time

Joaquin Phoenix is soooo hot.

Ooh I love this film. Maximus (Russell Crowe) was favourite general of the dying Emporer, but hated by the Emporers useless son (Pheonix). Useless son arranges for Maximus to be killed so he can suceed his father but Maximus escapes. He finds out his family has been killed so goes a bit bonkers, and is picked up by slave traders and is now just about to be brought by a gladiator owner.

you will have a lot more shut eye moments before the end of the film thats for sure.

can't be doin the joaquin phoenix thing though, not in Gladiator. It's a brilliant film, and the score is gorgeous, but there's something about a patricidal psychopath who wants to sleep with his sister that turns me right off...

I love this film, purely because Joaquin Phoenix is in it, can't stand Russel Crowe, he always looks like he needs a good wash. I didn't watch it last night though, was watching Waking the Dead, then CSI miami with Hortaio-hand on hips
