First Dates - question

I've come late to First Dates, and love it, but can anyone tell me why, at the end of the programme, they say how some couples went forward, but not others? Last night, there was a lovely older couple, who looked as though they were made for each other, but nothing was said about them at the end.

They do say about all couples as far as I'm aware? Half at the half way point of the program and the rest at the end.

I think if the couple say they're going to see each other again, then it says something about that at the end. If they don't want to see each other again (or just as friends) then that's the end of it.

Yes, I thought it was only those who wanted to see each other again.

Though I've also thought that if something went really wrong on the follow up date, then they'd just draw a veil over it and not mention it again!

I love this programme SO much.

Have you seen the foreign ones? You can catch up on Canadian, Australian and Irish, though I think the British one is best, by far. The Irish women tend to be gorgeous and the men just talk about their mums all the time.

I'm Irish, and yes, we're gorgeous Grin

I watched an Australian one once and wasn't that impressed. I thought it needed Fred.
