I heard 'Stay' on the radio the other day, and guessed it would be 5Am's pick- cue big fluffy parka jackets, vocals that were poor in the original any way, nice bells. Ignore the fact it isn't really about Christmas.

More bloody Sia, who must be on the payroll his year.

A falsetto Silent Night will be bloody awful, so i hope he tones it down. There will be a choir though. Of children probably. Who will also feature when Emily drones her way through 'War is over'.

Yes, i like Nic. Her Asda fleece wearing skills were sublime the other year. She seems to enjoy everything. She is my fav judge.

80s Sinead O'COnnor's version is pretty moving too. It's almost a cappella (sp?) and her voice is just amazing.

'Ernie, fastest milkman in the west' was Christmas number 1 in 1971 (the week I was born).

Someone should do that one.

I have just reminded myself I am 45 this month.
