Just watched - Martin is just not coming across well, he is very woe is me saying about him having to drink cockroaches, as if the others didn't have anything nasty at all! He's just very glass half empty! I like Ola and glad her and Sam have immunity. Adam is a bit of a tit but harmless.

When Martin was hanging up and not being a good servant, didn't they used to get "punished" for not doing the tasks properly? Surprised there's been no comeback for that for the whole group, which would make him more unpopular!

Martin isn't coming across well, he reminds me a bit of David Van Day. Late to the group and not fitting in all that well, because of annoying habits? I do think the rest of the camp are a bit nasty to him tbh. He's a bit of an idiot but he's the same to everyone. He's very much an outsider in the camp and I just feel a bit sorry for him.

I can't help but think that Martin doesn't really want to be in there and that's why he's always so pissed off with everything. He doesn't seem to have watched the show before and he has a steady job doing HUTH so I can only assume that he must have some unexpected bills to pay and IACGMOOH appeared to be the solution to his problems. Three weeks in Australia, how bad can it be?

Yes the big money will definitely be the draw for him, big money for three weeks work would be hard to refuse. Saying that though makes me wonder why Carol Vordamon went in, she's worth £18 million and has just signed a 5 year contract with itv. Mind you they always say the more they have the more they want.

I think CV Revels in the challenge of a new project and that's why she's in there.

Just caught up with last nights episode. The scene after Martin drank the san mig hell had me laughing out loud. It was hysterical. Ola and the guys were laughing and cooching into each other like bairns. And I'm sure Martin farted at one stage whilst retching

I've worked with a mish mash of Martins in my time, annoying colleagues who just will not shut up! I'd never heard of him at all and won't be hearing of him again after this series has finished!

I agree Becker it's all so edited. How come Martin ended up as a servant anyway. They all drew straws, was it rigged?

I finally caught up on the last couple of shows, I feel sorry for Martin, he's not coming across well at all but I think that is the editing, Adam still bugs the crap out of me, he's very irritating and the laughing at Joels comedy was so forced it was awful, I think he's a snake in the grass, I don't trust him one little bit.

Lisa Carol Ola and Sam are lovely, they just get on with it but they are not getting enough air time, neither is Larry and at the moment it's like there are only four people in there, Danny, Martin, Scarlett and Adam.

I agree about Adams forced laugh, I also think that Martin is the whipping boy now, the pack always has to have one, nobody else would be told to shut up like that, but Martin is just seen as easy game for all of them. Martin is annoying but there's worse things. Its hard for him now because he feels it's him against the rest of the camp. I'd rather him than Adam or Joel.

I will actively vote for anyone up against Scarlett in the final, ITV are so blatantly favouring her as their winner, in the mould of Vicky Pattinson et al.

Martin seems to me to be a man with an incredible amount of anger in him. His bitterness and savage jealousy oozes out of the TV. Won't ever be able to watch HUTH in quite the same light.

I think there are so many other interesting characters who are being cast in bit parts or extra roles around the sun that is Scarlett.
To think I was worried Carol would dominate the screen time!

I love this year how they have supported each other and pulled together (except for Martin)

I thought Carol would irritate me, but she's actually come across well.
