Does Sharon own a share in the Vic? Would explain why she might do the odd shift. Plus she's very nostalgic about the place.

Dot must be due a big storyline. I'm guessing once she doesn't have her job, she'll start losing the plot. I feel bad for her though. She's such a sad character. Whatever happened to that grandkid of hers. Dotty?

So stupid Lee has taken a loan out and will be paying £547 a month for 6mths

Def won't afford that so yes will be in debt

Hope won't be suicide - hate stories about that since dh did the same

Will watch fri and comment 😬

Not sure where Dotty ended up, or Charlie. Dot's
family are a dysfunctional crowd. Abi used to care, but seems to have disappeared.

I hope they won't do that with Lee too. The damage it'd leave behind would be too much to watch. Especially for anyone who has had to experience it for real. Maybe this new gentle era will steer clear of that.

Mick, Linda, Lee, Whitney, Tracey, Shirley, occasionally Babe and Johnny, now Sharon. Is there anyone who doesn't work in the Vic. Nancy couldn't have been doing the work of so many part timers surely!! Couldn't they just cut it back to Mick and Linda sharing while the other looks after Ollie and give Lee a full time job (would also take away the cost of his lunch and tube fare) and Whitney could be the 'extra hand' when needed person.

I know they need them the whole cast in service type jobs for the interactions with other people but when you have a kid who needs a proper job, surely they could just employ him to give some sense of reality?!?!

Yes Whitney is only qualified nursery nurse in London not working in nursery or as a nanny instead does odd shift in pub while she is broke....

Exactly. She could jump on the tube and be a live out nanny in Kensington, Chelsea, any of the posh areas. It'd be a decent salary!

Whitters hasn't done a nanny job in years now - she was training up as a TA at the local primary but that fell through in her dating Tyler Moon days

Flora, its true, so many staff for such a small pub ! would be better to just have Lee as assistant manager. Problem solved!

soup, yes, that's right. I remember Masood being a TA there for a while too
but he went back to being a postman ( walking round the square in a high vis was probably much easier to be fair.. )
Denny is so horrible, yet Sharon seems to have little control, or really care.
Too busy taking her eye make up off or on..

I didn't think Sharon looked too bad without makeup. She has lovely skin but I didn't realise she had such small eyes.

Lee seemed overly keen to drink beer through his dad's sock. Not sure why he volunteered Confused.

I dont know whats going on with Lee its annoying me the stag party was excrutiating (sp) the drinking out of socks the stripper/prostitute was just awful that pal of his is a creep.

I thought the box Denny hid behind the sofa was fireworks, maybe there'll be some link to dots scare etc? I'm wondering if there's going to be a hoohah with the dot/Kim car accident when Claudette realises dots eyesight is dodgy and then she'll presumably tell Kim/Vincent to get dot into trouble?

WRT to Lee's keenness to drink the beer through Mick's sock, I think he'd been uncomfortable with the stripper, declined her extra services and this was his way of showing his ex-Army pals that he was still a Real Man.

Yes it was to impress his army mates he also had a weird reaction to Whitney handling the drunk blokes in the pub the other episode like he couldn't protect his woman or something.

Perhaps that will be the next storyline for Lee?
He develops a strange sock fetish and becomes incapable of drinking normally, he has to put a sweaty sock over the glass first. His friends are repulsed and disown him, Mick can never forgive himself for introducing him to such a dirty habit and Whit divorces him on the grounds of unreasonable behaviour. Grin
