Gosh - some horrible suggestions about what happens to Lee. But he has had depression and suicide is one of highest killers in young men. So that could be the way the story goes. How utterly grim though.

They are steering clear of the high drama, grim stories atm so maybe Lee will be spared.

Actually I just had a look at the clip of Sharon. I think she looks nice! Different, as we're so used to her wearing falsies and full make up, but quite fresh and healthy looking. I liked it.

Probably part of the 'being normal' thing the new producer seems to be obsessed with. Suppose a woman being in full make up and extensions at all times might seem unusual to a lot of viewers who have clearly never been to Liverpool.

just caught up with last nights episode, the only conclusion I can give to 'Sharoneyegate' is she knew there was going to be a pamper party and decided to go bare before applying the face pack and cucumber! She looked okay - do women usually wear make up every day? I know i'm not working in a job where I need to, but sometimes woman must leave off the slap for a day or two?
poor Dot - Claudette is a cow! I must admit I skipped most of the stag do, I hate it when they horrible friends ( like moose) and it all gets beery and over the top - Lee looking at himself in the mirror was a bit sad - I hope he doesn't do anything too silly, but I also understand the pressure these days to have everything just perfect too. it all takes money, although it shouldn't really be like that!

agree that the Vic has a lot of staff on its books! I thought Sharon was working in the Albert with Vincent too? that hasn't been shown for a while.
Kim had a job in there too, although she hasn't been seen doing much apart from the driving.
its all very odd how they have jobs then seem to not do them!

Saw it too Sharon did look very different but made sense about the party. But since we not seen her without make up in about 30y she would be the type of woman who took it off while there , put it back on again then came home!

I do was puzzled at Sharon shift, seriously!! I know Linda Lee Whitney and Jonny were out but on a normal night they all be in so why Sharon working there ?

Why had Dot suddenly gone all feeble and shaken up by fireworks? Why was she on ladder? have they mentioned eye sight thing before? I know in real life but she was working up to 5min ago

They're suddenly giving Dot all sorts of issues, Akire - firstly they shook her confidence in her driving abilities (although the bump was IMO entirely Kim's fault), then there's mention of her eyesight being poor, then she couldn't get to grips with the digital radio, swiftly followed by her asking Patrick to help her put up some sound proof curtains to keep out the sound of the fireworks. He failed to show up to help her, being sidetracked by Claudette's magnificent bosom, so she was up on the ladder trying to tackle the curtains herself. All perfectly reasonable problems associated with her age, but to introduce them all within a week seemed daft!

might be a dementia story coming up for Dot or something, or she may need to move home. Not sure, not read that June Brown is leaving the soap anywhere although i'm not up on celeb/ soap news!
Its odd, but may be something to do with her not working now and just being lonely. probably another story they will just drop when something else comes along - with Christmas looming its time for them to start putting the big stories into line ready for the Christmas misery they usually inflict on us - unless the Mitchell sisters is the big one this year? I hope Ronnie is found out for killing poor Fatboy!

hi mrsjayy! not sure, but buying anything away from the square seems alien to the residents. There is a big wide world out there people of different shops!
I think Steven has done something to Peter too - seems as though Lauren isn't going out to NZ now - funny how they don't have much money but they seem to have plenty for long haul flights ( NZ, Florida etc) , never say '; but I can't afford it really!'
