I couldn't find a thread and iirc Raahh is out tonight so I thought I'd do it.

Brooks have been suspended because one of them has been sending abusive messages to their ex girlfriend.

If those twins aren't coming back I think Louis ought to bring that girl group back that were at Judge's Houses - can't remember their name but they were really good but of course he had to bring stupid Bractava to the live shows and it was obvious they'd be knocked out the first week. I thought it was very spooky for 2 men to be singing a song about Barbie that a little girl of 5 or 6 might sing- very bad taste.

Also I wish people would stop going on about Gifty's name - it's so racist "what sort of name is it" - it's an African Caribbean name strangely! Not everyone is called Julie, Claire, Helen, Sue, Nicky etc

And I think Sharon's behaviour last night was shocking - she was pissed - not sure about Nicole - she was a bit high but Sharon was just stupid and attention seeking.

I've always hated Sharon on Xf. Really really. It has always been about her. I don't think she gives a shit about the contestants.

That jukebox thing was beyond pathetic. It stopped, started, stopped, started.... the little man in the back obviously couldn't find "Motown". I wonder if the producers of XF can insult our intelligence much more?

Just read the thread whilst watching both episodes on catch-up. (No Sir! I do not need to re-evaluate my day off activity...) What ever medication Sharon is on it needs reducing - asking the Scot to say 'Och the noo' - WTF?!!
Agree with you all about Elfish - something about her makes her difficult to warm to.
News this morning is that The twins who got sacked will be replaced - maybe it will be the girl group - 4 of Diamonds (?) - they were way better than the twins anyway.

You can vote for a replacement group on Twitter. 4 of Diamonds was the girl group I was thinking of and just voted for them. They were miles better than those twins anyway - Louis is so stupid - he put the twins through because they "looked like pop stars................."

Yes Sharon is a PITA - attention seeking and her performance on Sat night was disgusting, pulling those stupid faces, covering Nicole's breast, thinking the Finnish girl was from Norway and couldn't say "Bractavia" - and yes how bloody racist asking the Scot to say "Och the noo" - shocking.

Im not a massive fan of Saara but I dont quite understand the hate for her. Yes she is a bit annoying but she can at least sing which cant be said about all of the contestants.
Having looked through youtube she sings better in finnish though and seems more likeable on some of the performances in finnish than on some of the english ones.

I think Xfactor live is just like a Saturday night out in the pub for Sharon - few drinks, laughs with some mates, watching some rubbish group etc. I bet she can barely name any of the contestants, it's just a laugh to her, she has no interest in the acts.

I don't think disliking Elfish is a Brexit thing- I don't like her personally because I find her quite fake. She has a strange perma-grin that doesn't reach her eyes. And it vanishes when the camera moves to someone else. In fact, I have a suspicion she is actually not even human, and is a synth, like those androids in 'Human', out to prove that robots can win reality tv singing programmes and take over from humans in everything. Grin

Maybe there is something about her that is lost in translation.
I'm bored and waiting in for a delivery, in my defence...

Rou, i agree about Sharon. She gets paid a kings ransom, it doesnt matter to her who wins, she has publicity for a while. Its all win win for her.
At least Nicole seems to champion her acts a bit more!

I totally agree Raah about Elfish - I couldn't have put it better - she does have a strange grin and we smile with our eyes, but she doesn't she smiles with her mouth which makes it fake. I hate saying this cus it sounds racist but it's not that - and she can sing, of that there is no doubt.

Little Matt Terry is my favourite.

Sharon was a disgrace on Saturday - i'm all for people having a good time, but surely after the show? She isn't interested in her charges I bet, just goes along for the recorded bit now and again - its all about her!
Mind you, this show was once about giving someone a chance , now its just about ratings, the judges and novelty acts. Still, I watch for this thread and it makes a change from cookery shows and can still be entertaining, sometimes. Nicole is worthwhile at least! ( bless her) and Louis does make me smile too!

I agree 80s , I think the train left the station a LONG time ago. The public are jaded, the judges are jaded, no one thinks it's a show looking for new exciting talent. Too many winners have sunk without trace and I just think that no-one cares any more.

For Simon it's just a money making machine - bring them in, chew them up, spit them out. For the likes of Sharon it's just a laugh on a Saturday night.

For me... why do I watch it I say to myself. It's like picking at a scab Grin
