I'm not sure how long I can leave it on. I'm weirdly attracted to these programmes because they bloody irritate me.

This type of programming is disgraceful.

That first woman was appalling she had to be acting up for the cameras..

It's poverty porn isn't it. Taking advantage.

They seem like normal parents to me. Not everyone's a mn-er. Total idiots to go on a "look at these feckless spongers" programme. But then the producers don't want intelligent, articulate, middle class mums on there, ruining their carefully contrived narrative.

The other 2 are ok it's the first one that's a bit dodge.

Why do they show essex people as so shallow? I live in this county and i know so many ordinary people who work hard and do the right thing and not like Becky, who seems very irresponsible. We all dont want to be TOWIE wannabes. To have an overdraft just to be like others is just wrong. Its different if its for food or the gas bill, but this is just silly. Just my opinion of course. Winds me up.

Mycat, Glad to hear it! Nothing against single mums or people on benefits, but its annoying when you know they could spend the money on things that matter. A knock off bag isnt it if your skint and have kids to bring up. Some peoples priorities seem skewed.

And some men don't pay to support their own kids.

The whole show is about how terrible these women are. The men just swan off.

Yes, Amy is struggling but she seems to have her act together. She seems quite sensible. It must be so hard being on your own with two of them.
