Oh I loved Brendan! They are repeating all the previous series on Food channel at the moment and I rewatched series 3 final at the weekend. Proper weeping along with Brendan as he tried to talk about his family reunion.

Why is my house praline free? Why am I lacking all the good stuff? Maybe one of the bakers wants to volunteer to be my pastry chef. Not Tom.

Due to bedtime i've missed the name of the nut meringue thing they're making. Can anyone help? And can I buy it in waitrose? It looks lovely!

Puts them under time pressure, which isn't fair really. The nearest thing I have made like this was 4 layers of hazelnut meringue with chocolate orange ganache filling. I never even got a piece, but everyone liked it. It took a while...

I think it's a Marjolain.

I made a chestnut meringue thingy last christmas... nothing as clever as this but it tasted nice!

Lemon I say "Prah-leen" because of the German thing, but I ignore the rest of the German pronunciation.

I believe prah-leen is the proper French pronunciation Lemon
