i got the dvd boxset for xmas in on my last dvd cannot bear to watch the ending it was just so sad worse then when friends ended

i'm watching the repeats on paramount 2 at the moment, it's great. yes i miss it!

I have them all on dvd too and love to watch them every so often. It cheers me up.
The ending was very tearful.

It is still shown nightly on Belgian TV here, and I always love watching it. It's on fairly early though, and I have to make sure my 3 year old doesn't watch it.

Great ending, and great series, so many classic lines!

i know it always makes me feel happy and normal iykwim just on how women think i just cant relate to deperaate housewives etc. I love my friends but i would so love to have friends like them. I wonder if they ever will make a film.

I think a film is in the pipeline but not sure how it would work, I can't really imagine SATC on the big screen - a single story for 90-odd mins? It works much better in the 25-min format. Plus inevitably it would have to involve at least Carrie and Big falling out (and making up), maybe even one of the others too. Better to imagine them all happy with their partners, perhaps?

I think the rumours with the film though is that her who plays Samantha, I cant remember her name, has refused to do it so the others have said no too.
