Anyone watching? I think it's fantastic. So interesting to learn about Bangladeshi/Muslim culture through her eyes. She's such a genuine, warm and thoughtful person. If you happen to see this Nadiya - very well done and thank you!

Different cultures, different traditions, different ways of life. That's the beauty of human beings all around the world. Yes, you might not agree with some of it and there are many other Bangladeshi British Muslims who are cringing at some of the things Nadiya is portraying about her way of life but she's happy isn't she? Isn't that what matters. Not everyone in the world has the same values and customs. I'm sure there are many, many of your traditions that they also find extremely distasteful but accept that it's your way of life.

Each to their own.

And Nadiya is very likeable. I bet she'd be a lovely person to sit and have coffee over the kitchen table with.

Totally agree she is an absolute natural. Hard to believe she has never presented a tv show before. She is one of the most watchable people I've ever seen. Shame she only had 2 episodes to discover the whole country. Maybe she didn't want to/couldn't leave her family for longer than 2 weeks though.

A really interesting, entertaining programme. I so hope she goes on to present more stuff.

Hadn't intended to watch it and usually quite wary of reality TV 'celebrities' but it was fascinating and I agree that she is very natural in front of the camera.

Looks like she's on Would I Lie To You this series.
