This woman is a hero, 4 children under 3 including triplets, on her own. No wonder she's knackered!

Watching now. The mum is amazing. It looks like a nightmare!

MunchCrunch01 · 10/08/2016 21:36

Yeah the bit where they encouraged her to go to a cafe with 4 under 3, my goodness I could never do that! The rest of it was sensible but honestly, how do you stop one of them running off when you've got 4? I'd have to have some sort of crocodile reins on unless in a play park.

AndNowItsSeven · 10/08/2016 21:38

Need a clever I assume she thought she was infertile?

Allyoucaneat · 10/08/2016 21:40

What a woman! I often feel overwhelmed with my 1yr old and 5yr old.

My 22month old constantly wants carried and it is an ongoing battle but I only have one toddler, not 4!!

cosmicglittergirl · 10/08/2016 21:49

I'd have them in a double buggy and two sets of reins. Couldn't handle it.

SortAllTheThings · 10/08/2016 22:02

Aggg reins! Why not reigns! Bet 3 day nanny is one of those types that thinks they're awful.

SortAllTheThings · 10/08/2016 22:05

After infertility and treatment sometimes suprise babies happen. There was a family (on this, I think) that had twins by I've, then less than 2 years later had twins conceived naturally. Complete suprise. Think they said something about the treatment kick starting her system?

NeedACleverNN · 10/08/2016 22:05

I missed the first 5 mins so I did miss the part about infertility and stuff

cosmicglittergirl · 10/08/2016 22:06

I love my reins, but then I also have stair gates, a play pen and my toddlers are both still in cots. Makes my life easier.
Anyway, hats off to Rosie for trying her best. No mention of her partner.

SortAllTheThings · 10/08/2016 22:06

*IVF

imwithspud · 10/08/2016 23:01

Just out of curiosity/nosiness, I missed the first 5 minutes. Did they say what happened to the partner? Didn't know about the Ivf stuff either.

yoowhoo · 10/08/2016 23:32

She does mention her ex in this interview.

MunchCrunch01 · 11/08/2016 10:55

cosmic we must be similar - I've got reins and a play pen and a 22 mo old in a cot (in a sleeping bag so she can't climb out) - she has to have a playpen as she frequently climbs on the table and stands up on it. I imagine 4 under 3 would kill a lot of marriages, I hope she's got a supportive family

NoCapes · 11/08/2016 11:02

I don't understand the pram situation, wouldn't a triple buggy or a double buggy with a buggy board & baby in a carrier be so much safer than expecting three 2 year olds to be responsible and sensible near a road Confused

cosmicglittergirl · 11/08/2016 12:47

I agree Nocapes, it's quite a risk if one is a bolter.

raisedbyguineapigs · 11/08/2016 12:57

Has their dad just completely disappeared after all those years of trying for a baby? Surely she gets a bit of a break when he has them, if he does? I didnt watch this as childcare expert books and programmes nearly broke me when I had DS1 so I have an aversion to them!

cosmicglittergirl · 11/08/2016 13:15

I guess dad didn't want to feature.
I thought the not talking to the children was interesting. I reckon if I had four toddlers to talk to after disturbed nights, I'd have trouble talking.

AndNowItsSeven · 11/08/2016 13:20

I had four under three , and a quad buggy. We still use it , it's no wider that a baby jogger city mini double.

Snazarooney · 11/08/2016 13:25

I just wanted to jump into the TV and help this lady. I couldn't imagine taking 4 little ones out anywhere on my own!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 11/08/2016 13:28

I thought she was brilliant and even more brilliant for embracing everything the nanny suggested. I noticed the no talking thing straight away, the kids lit up when she started chatting to them.

I would have reins!

I wouldn't pick up a 2.5-3 year old, no way! It wasn't about wanting a cuddle anyway, it was all about control. The nanny didn't say no cuddles , she said no carrying and quite right too!

AndNowItsSeven · 11/08/2016 13:29

Yes the lady was lovely, wonder if she is a mumsnetter.

Xmasbaby11 · 11/08/2016 13:39

She did so so well. There's no way I'd have taken the kids out like that - it looked really stressful. I had a 2 year age gap and we had double buggy then single buggy and buggy board. Only now dd1 is 4.5 can I trust her to walk next to the buggy.
