Lots of missing names from the top players- but we are edging towards the US open- without Federer- and who knows, maybe even without Djokovic.

Could we be heading for all change at the top?

I think beating Rafa over 3 sets is one thing, but over 5? Rafa is a fighter over 5 sets.

The crowd, who can't take their seats between games on time, don't help that. Why is that such a 'thing' these days? It was rife at RG and the US. they are still quite firm at Wimbledon though .

carabos he's looking good. Carlos has definitely done something to his serve. Uncle Toni must be taking a back seat- it''s definitely needed.

I've always had high hopes for Raonic. He was so, so close a couple of times last year.
But I do think his time will come.

The umpire really is not on Rafa's Christmas list. She overruled an ace and called it a fault (she was wrong)and at advantage point against him , called a time violation.He still son the point. I recognise her from other matches. She never seems very good.

Sorry Jo's gone out. I hope I didn't put a curse on her saying she'd do well against Serena.

Oh Drama he winds me up! And if he was going to insist on banging on about Zverev (who he was clearly very upset hadn't beaten Rafa) , at least pronounce his name tight- it's ZVerev. Not Zevrev.

I like listening to Frew because he's so knowledgeable about the technicalities of the sport. I must admit I haven't heard his pronunciation of Zverev though, that would annoy me too. I've never noticed that he's anti-Rafa either, I've always thought Wilander was anti-Rafa - or at least, he's always been very pro-Federer. Interesting how we see this so differently, isn't it?

Just seen Rafa's taken the second set, looks like that tie break was very tight.

Wilander has been ok, so far. He is definitely a Federer fan, but I think he is enjoying the return to form of Nadal.

Mac has surprised me this year- he's been a lot less biased than he can be. And not making as many excuse for the like of Kyrgios as he usually does. He was very critical of Monfils the other day, he really annoyed him with his messing about. he could have made it to a 5th set. even won the match.

well, if Rafa can break, then he can take the match.
