I hope I'm not the only one on MN that watches oaks.
I'm looking forward to the 6 weeks of summer after viewing the trailer.... And warren fox is back
Anyone else got favourite/most hated characters? Looking forward to upcoming storylines?

Not watched tonight's e4 episode yet.

I agree it's a good storyline to do however I personally find their sensitive storylines a bit hit and miss. So I'm hoping they do this one justice. I was really disappointed with the Maxine/Patrick DV one. They could have encouraged real life victims to seek help if they did it correctly. As it stands they have shown that the abuser still has control over his victim even in death. I think that's a really shit message to give for such a sensitive and important topic that affects so many people. Poorly handled IMO.

I hope they get this one right. This particular area of consent isn't talked about much so with a bit of luck it can be eye opening and educational.

I agree re the Maxine storyline. It wound me up.

I thought Mercedes looked beautiful in her wedding dress and her acting was good at the end when she was crying. Omg why do I keep commenting that I found someone's acting in Hollyoaks good?!

I've not watched that one yet. I'll do so in the morning.

Mercedes is usually a good actress. Some of the scenes she's done are brilliant. The way she pronounces joe gets right on my tits though!

I thought tonight's episode was fab. Jennifer Metcalf really is a fab actress. Is anyone else still rooting for joe and mercy to get back together though? Even though he's a nob, I really hope they do slightly too invested!

I think I'm slightly in love with her

I'd like them to be together, I'd also like her to have a baby of her own that we get to see her keep

Come on hollyoaks writers - please give Mercedes a happy ending!

Mercy was brilliant tonight, I shed a little tear when she was crying at the Roscoe's and loved it when she crashed the car and said "this is only the beginning"
I can't wait to see her go crazy but I also hopes she gets her happy ending, you can tell she's ready to be a mummy. Joe doesn't deserve her.

I'm not sure why Mercedes hasn't figured out that Joanne put the drugs in her bag yet. I thought she would have realised that when joe told her he had been shagging her.

I'm trying to watch it, barely keeping it together. Dd2 has left. I know this is reality for so many people but it's unbearable to watch.

Gosh that was hard to watch. Brilliant performances from the kids

Wow... that was tough viewing. Sobbing by the end of it. Very well done by Hollyoaks I think. Really feel for the people going through the reality of cancer every day. Cancer sucks.

That was so sad. It was handled perfectly though, especially the daydream. The girl that plays Jade needs an award for her acting over the last few months, she will do brilliantly in her acting career with that talent.

My heart goes out to everyone who's been in a similar situation.

Fab acting. Fingers crossed they don't have Alfie immediately with a new girlfriend as hollyoaks usually does!!

I hope not. I think Alfie is really going to struggle.

Such a heartbreaking episode. Not just for the ending but from the reaction from others as well. So so sad!!

Just hope they do the aftermath well..

It was sad. And the acting (especially Jade and Alfie) was excellent. I hope that Jade is flooded with offers of more acting jobs.

Still, good that Nancy has managed to forget her shaking thing. And shame that Esther couldn't be around (why?), and that that woman after Jack has given them a bit of a break...

So so sad, cried buckets! Very poignant to me as I'm sure it was to others, and even more so as she died from the added complication of an infection which doesn't just effect cancer patients.

Acted brilliant by all, don't know how they kept it together!
