Jack settled down with Selina (Daisy Beaumont) and on marrying, they had a daughter, Penny. Jack built a career in the police force but got involved in criminal activities and when they backfired, one of Jack's informants knocked Selina and Penny down in revenge for being accidentally sent down. Penny's spinal cord was severed, putting her in a wheelchair, and in the aftermath, Jack and Selina divorced and Jack retired from the police force.

I forgot he was a former police officer. He seems too dim.

Loved martin and stace tonight, tho they're way too happy things can only go wrong. Stacey's brother/sister is so annoying, dreadful acting, and what is the point of belinda and her sporadic prattling on about a beauty salon. Jay too predictable with the drugs and chlamydia-gate just dire, sigh, pass the wine!

I thought it was "the boss" but then there was an awkward pause from the adults and they all looked nervously at each other so it doesn't really fit. Was it because he called him Dad?

If Andy's vendetta is just against Ronnie. Why would he take Jack's children too

I probably missed the episode, but did we ever find out why Andy has a vendetta against Ronnie? If it's because of Danielle then that's pretty dumb. Ronnie didn't kill her.

The whole Andy plot is nuts. And not interesting nuts, more tedious nuts. And he's not a terrible actor, but he just looks a bit embarrassed about his whole performance.

I expect the big denouement to be really crap, with more running around railway stations desperately seeking baby Matthew.

I think he blames Ronnie because Danielle died when she was trying to get to know Ronnie and Ronnie wasn't very nice to her.
