Billy blew up at the meeting but Honey ran around to Jack and asked Jack to speak to Billy about how a special school would be better for Janet's requirements rather than trying to shoehorn into a mainstream school. Billy did his scrunched up blinking face to show us the viewers that he had come around to that realisation and that was the end of that.

Jack was in the police, i think the Drugs unit. He was a bent copper and got kicked out of the force. Honey was trying to find him so he could identify what Jay was selling.

His backstory tied nicely into the fact he used to be in The Bill, where he played exactly the same character but named Phil Hunter.

Are the writers taking us through all this with Sylvie to show that sometimes families just can't cope, and actually professional carers can be a good idea? The family would be able to afford a couple of hours a week definitely. Actually I don't think the writers are that informed about carers on second thoughts. Look at Jane!

I don't give the writers that much credit. I think this Sylvie story is happening just to make Sonia so pissed off she'll leave Walford and go and live with Bianca as Natalie Cassidy is soon going off on maternity leave.

I think Sylvie is just a plot device too. She has been used in the Babe stories, she's being used as a wedge between Tina and Sonia and Tina and the other Carters and I don't doubt she will be used elsewhere too.

I suppose Babe is economically useful. Also I think Sylvie walked out on her children when they were growing up, leaving them with alcoholic Stan and big sister/real mother Shirley.

Babe will "helpfully" leave a lighter and a pack of 20 Embassey Regals in her handbag and she'll set the house alight, ensuring she's shipped off to a Residential Home for her "own safety".

We only just saw honey billy room this week with double bed. Lola room was always in sight behind sofa and you can see stuff there now but also new door to back of kitchen with what looks like bunk beds. Which presumed was 3 rd new bedroom

That basement flat is dire. It still looks exactly like it did when Billy lived there with the blonde girl, whose name I've forgotten, and Lexi. It needs to be Honeyfied. Surely she'd have spruced it up a bit by now in her own unique way. Or at least cleaned it a bit and turned a light on.

After extensive research I found this photo. So, the door has always been there but, I suspect, never open. I think I assumed it was the bathroom. So where is the bathroom?? Is it by the front door?
