Now the truth is out that Babe was blackmailing Les and it seems to be forgotten about.
Now the family believe her when she says Sylvie tried to kill her by shutting her in the freezer.
Please tell me I have missed something here or have the script writers lost the plot.?

You haven't missed anything in regards to the babe storyline; it's just pathetic really. Even Lea said today "oh now babes left is alone." Does he know Claudette told the Carters?

I think what's happened is the writers were building up to a big storyline with Paul and his mum, then Paul got fired and now they are cutting all ties and quickly wrapping up the storylines around it, including Les Pam and Babe.

It was announced ages ago that Paul was leaving, I don't think it was a last minute firing. Even with FatBoy who was asked to leave because of his online misbehaviour he was allowed a proper leaving storyline.
I just think that EE is generally all over the place at the moment with the producer leaving, lots of storylines are being picked up and dropped again. The Claudette/Vincent stuff. The Ronnie/Vincent affair. The Ollie is sick storyline. Johnny & paramedic going nowhere. Even Peggy dying and the funeral was all stop-start-stop-start.

I was also thinking about the "dean" storyline.
So he got found not guilty and buster paid him to go away .
Well as soon as the ratings go bad I bet they bloody bring him back and he probably gets killed by one of the Carters but this time he will be dead and then it will be like "Cluedo".
