On the subject of the Hubbards, I was wondering about Patrick's stroke recently: It seems to have 'faded' over time. Is this normal? Can that happen?

Yes Dot was a terrible bigot she has changed over the years,Vincent feels guilty about fatboy so has adopted Dot i think.

Yes people can fully recover from a stroke

I need to discuss something which is happening next week! How non-spoilery do we have to be on this thread? This is something which everyone knows is coming up - not like I know the outcome or anything - but I don't understand how it's going to work/ be effective and want your input!

I get confused about what we can and can't say about spoilers. I thought they weren't allowed but on the previous page someone's mentioned next week's big story

This thread doesn't discuss spoilers. I think I know what you are talking about and I think it will work in the same way as a typical EE 'whodunnit' storyline.

Ie It doesn't have to make any sense! Any at all!

I'm new to this board but just want to say that I hate spoilers and don't look at them. I love EE and part of the reason I love this board is knowing that I'm safe from spoilers. But I love trying to guess where things are heading - that's all part of the fun.

Full recovery can happen but i'm not sure someone of Patricks age would completely recover back to the way he was. I could be wrong but i think full recovery is normally seen in younger stroke victims.

To give Eastenders some credit, it was very gradual and didn't just heal as soon as the storyline was finished, like Coma brain damage and stuff.

My aunt had a strokeat 70 she gradualy recovered and has no effects left she is 81 now and sprightly

I personally love spoilers- I think there's a few of us on here if another thread is started. I have seen people throw strops of huge proportions over spoilers though on other threads (not this one! ) so we do all have to be careful

How old is the Grant and Michell storyline they are digging up?

I dont mind spoilers i think how we get round spoilers is to guess what is going to happen rather than saying well i was reading claudette is going to squash babe in her magnificent busom

We have two Corrie threads running, one with spoilers and one without - we could do the same for Enders??

I won't mention what I want to talk about on here then, but I am a bit of a spoiler-seeker so would welcome a spoiler thread if anyone starts one.

I never start MN threads though because I am convinced no-one would post on them...

I'll set up a thread - I enjoy spoilers too!

And I'll resist it for 5 minutes a week and then crack like an egg and read it all.
