Starts tomorrow - anyone planning to watch?

It looks like a new version of Castaway without the heavy-handed interference of the TV crew and without the cosy huts provided.

I'm pretty sure it was Rob The Vet kicking off at Stephen The Chef.

I quite liked Rob the Vet so I was hoping it wasn't him but since (so far) there only seem to be two couples: Chef/YogaLady and Vet/Forager. It seems likely it's Rob. It's odd but I've never had to get a man to shout at another man for me. How odd that someone couldn't last a few months without getting a man to shout on their behalf.

Anyone here? I wonder why they were placed so far north in Scotland? The climate there doesn't seem to lend itself to growing things. Or was it to stop them all being eaten by wild animals in other places?

weirdly scotland is not that bad food wise. growing season is reasonably long with good soil. plus lots to forage and sizeable wild animals to hunt.

on the 'tropical island' programmes the people get really malnourished very quickly. bad soil and not lots to forage...

I don't really think it's fair for the men to slag off the women for not being as physically strong as them. And if this was a real community, they'd need women to bloody reproduce!
