I didn't see the interview, will try and find it later, but I do feel a bit sorry for him, being suddenly thrust under the glare of the spotlight and a huge weight of national expectation upon him. We do like to crush any British tennis player who shows an ounce of promise by making them 'the future of British tennis.'
Maybe he just doesn't know how to handle the sudden media attention and is trying to act nonchalant but misjudging it? He's not one of these players who been hothoused in the Bolettieri (sp?) factory or been in the circuit since they were 12. Must be very daunting to suddenly be 'the big Wimbledon story 2016'.
