I understand cross dressing (unsure of correct term), it's the having a different persons thing I'm not quite getting. Christine is still in Les, with or without the wig, so why can't he access her strength? It's very interesting anyway.

I haven't been watching for a few weeks - did we know Paul was going to die? I knew but after it was aired - it would have been excellent if you thought it was Ben and then it was Paul.

Also am I being totally naive about Les and the cross dressing? Would it really be such a huge deal? As someone said on another thread, people get murdered beaten raped by their neighbours every week on the square, would everyone care that much about a bloke in a dress??!

Nugget it wasn't really that excellent unfortunately. I didn't know Paul was going to die but as EE cant do subtle it was obviously not Ben from the start what with all the 'young man in possession of Ben's phone' stuff.

I thought paul was going to meet his mum find out pam kept him from her and he would leave with mum EE were really good at not releasing spoilers. I dont understans the crossdressing fully either it seems really complicated I do think Claudette enjoyed keeping it a secret though she seemed to relish the connection she and Les/Christine had.

Corrie is unbelievable for spoilers. After one of their trailers there's no point watching the actual episode. Their team crash would've been a million times more exciting if it hadn't been spoiled to death.

Hope EE don't go the same way.

I just can't see the point and try to avoid them buy the headlines on the magazines always give it away.
Why can't they just keep schtum and let us watch the story unfold?

I think the spoilers are to build hype.
But the episodes I've enjoyed the most and told others to watch have been the ones I haven't read any spoilers about. Knowing about it before hand just builds it up and you are inevitably let down.
By the way, did anyone see Facebook posts from people who genuinely thought that there's been a different actor playing Ben this week all because he's wearing different glasses!!

I dont watch corrie now but from the mini film they released i knew that girl was dying

I stopped watching Corrie partly because of the spoilers. They were almost giving the full plot in detail a week before it happened. That and it went a bit shit. Maybe all the new producers will shake the soaps up a bit.

I managed to avoid all spoilers for this. Whilst it was obviously (or most likely) a case of mistaken identity, I wasn't 100% sure and the idea that it could actually be Paul did make it more emotional I thought.
