I think Dominic T-C has spiked the scriptwriters' tea with halucinogenic drugs. Last night's episode was bizarre in the extreme and not in a good way .

I quite liked the cheesy chase around the implausibly large house. Complete bollocks but made a change from Kathy moping around the market.

Scenes got cut though between Peggy and Claudette didn't they?

Apparently so. Lots of Claudettes storyline has been cut, It's left massive gaps.

Peggy's children haven't aged well have they? Clearly didn't take after their mother.

DTC clearly really loves Babs. Don't think there's ever been such a drawn out, over hyped, milked for all it's worth death before. She hasn't been in it properly since 2010.

They made way too much fuss over peggy dying. She hadn;t been in it for years so she didn;t feel very current. Then after she died, all the plots carried on as if nothing had happened, and then three weeks later her funeral and more grief. It was all a bit cut and paste and messy.

I don;t think she had the legendary status that Barbara Windsor or Dominic T-C thought she had.

Not at all. Pat turning up as Peggy prepared to die was the best bit.

And Grant in the bushes gave us here some much needed entertainment.

The episode with Gavin didn't really make sense. For months he's ignored Kathy and had endless chances to try and get her back. Then it was "I suddenly can't live without you."

The big house and the high drama was a bit of a stretch really, like a bad daytime soap.

For those who watch many soaps if you compare Gavin's physco ex behaviour with the scenes from Emmerdale with Carl? Debbie and Chaz makes eastenders look like a carry on movie.

Yes that card thing was weeiirrrd. I thought Ben was going to reveal something like "see, you can out bluff Babe any day" or it seemed like something sinister at one point. I think it's the whole family thing though and Phil accepting Paul means Ben wants to show he is happy being around Pam.
