I haven't really been watching this so have no idea whether what the three horsemen of the apocalyse (I suppose Illiterate Jack could be the fourth?) have been saying is overtly racist or just potentially so (depending on the subjective judgment of the viewer), but I sort of don't think it matters.
Racism is vile and most of society agrees on that. But if these women are not racist, they are at the very least behaving appallingly to someone on the grounds that she is different. Maybe she is different because she is more talented, more well mannered, more beautiful, more successful, better spoken, has a differen accent or is a different colour. It doesn't really make any difference what the reason is - it is just plain nasty. The problem here, I think, is that we are a very bullying society and bullying is often ignored. In this case, many people are up in arms because racism is so reviled in our society, but really bullying in all its forms and for all of its reasons needs to become socially unacceptable.
The whole thing is revolting and I, personally, can't wait for the freakshow to be off the air for good. I just wish that this would spell the end of CBB, BB, BBLB, BBBM etc etc.
