I'm pleased about Gabi 's win. I watched an interview with her during Week 1, and she seems quite lovely. At the time, she was hinteing at playing mixed doubles with Rafa at the Olympics.

One thing I really like about Bertens was her joy at winning an early-round match that allowed her to make the Dutch Olympic team. I guess the authorities had said she had to make the Round of 16 or something to qualify, and when she did, she was overjoyed. It was really sweet.

I hope the weather is cruddy, so Djoko has fits. Thiem just seems to get on with it. It would make a nice contrast of mature vs. not.

I have a theory about why Djoko hates the wet weather, and bear with me, it has nothing to do with the slowness of the ball or the height of the bounce.

If his Human Suit gets wet, it melts right off.

It is very warm here. Honestly, the world is on its head when Manchester is getting the good weather.
