Omg - I didnt't think they would kill Carlie off so quick.

What about Shelli's baby, will s/he inherit the house and business? Apparently Tracey put the knife in his left hand, Charlie was righthanded...

Shame she dident batter blanch and david as well.

I think she gets sent down for it as a new family are coming to live in her house, or so the woman who talks about the soaps was saying on this morning last week.

Oh no, no Blanche bashing! She's ace! David is just vile, and he's so ugly. What is it with soap kids? David, Ben in Eastenders, Rebecca in EE's, they're all either vile or really annoying.

I'm another one who doesn't watch this often. Sooo, did Charlie deserve it, or is Tracey just an out-and-out baddy? And did she therefore do the iron burn herself? That's just plain psycho.

i thought amie would go to steve, single dad story lines, mums in park again for mumbling cab-dad..

claire has been awful; charlie has no rellies as he is just comic book evil and no not sexy i agree;
quite like peter barlow back...

and glad dad / nurse platt has gone.for good..you can see where david got his looks from...i loved the card writing storyline real horror ...

Charlie deserved a nasty end for what he did to Shelley, but Tracey has always given as good as she got.

BoingBoing I don't think Charlie deserved it - he was unfaithful, she should have left him he didn't deserve to die. She is in a different league.

Of course he doesn't deserve the death penalty without benefit of judge, trial or jury just for being unfaithful or a bastard.

Tracey has to go down.

Whoever said soaps have a public duty, I think you're probably right. It would be lovely if they did a storyline where she got off but was found out ten years later or something (Corrie's so good at suddenly bringing out storylines from years ago, like Ivy Tilsley's diary at Christmas) but I don't think they'd allow themselves to do that.

charlie - he may not have deserved it but he played with mad demented tracey babyseller and fair doesnt come into it, i used to hate tracey barlow til kate ford did the part...sad deranged daughter of ken and deirdre..what a meaty role..

caligula the poison pen of ivy was a great storyline..casually thrown in in a way ..liked that..

i dont watch any other soaps, do you guys?

No life's too short to watch others - but I do listen to the Archers, I don't know why because I hate every single character in it apart from Ed and Jazzer

oh sometimes listened to that ages ago then heard episode w/ ruuuth like having affair! always thought she and david in their own rural idyll..long time since though and yeh, life is way too short lol
rita is big these days and deirdre too, dont you think? and budgie woman (liz) isn't annoying me as much as she did when w/ jiim, hated jim crap actor ..still got a few years in strangeways poor ol jim, back in the day, blardie blar....

Thanks you lot. Me, I'm normally an Archers listener, despite DH's loud protestations, but went back to work when I decided I'd become addicted to Neighbours.
Doubtless I'll drop in on Corrie again in another 10 years, around the same time as Tracey's past catches up with her!

I was really hoping she'd get off at the trial but it would come back to bite her on the bum in a few years. You're right, Corrie does that sort of stuff really well.

I loved that line too suzy. I also liked it when Ken was talking in the kitchen about someone being given carte blanche and she yelled "are you talking about me? I'll have cheese and onion since you're asking". Genius.

one thing about charlie gone
they cant all keep saying 'charlie' all the time, his name was repeated all the time by tracy, jason, maria...got on me nerves charlie it did....
