Can anyone tell me why Phil Mitchell is helping Sonia? Did I miss an episode or have Phil and Sonia always been best mates? So who did kill Pauline anyway?

Maybe Phil is being soo helpful to Sonia because HE killed Pauline???

If he helps Sonia to escape she looks guilty and the police don't look for anyone else..
