Is unlawful killing like manslaughter? Why wasn't he charged with murder? I did feel sorry for him sat in that cell all alone. Sad

AGnu · 01/06/2016 19:35

According to Wikipedia, "unlawful killing" includes both murder & manslaughter. I guess the distinction will be made by a jury, based on their interpretation of intent or premeditation.

freshprincess · 01/06/2016 21:34

Wiki tells me that Steven used to be gay.
Did we not just have a Branning sister and an in the closet boyfriend. Do they think we won't notice.

PolaDeVeboise · 01/06/2016 21:51

Glad someone else has noticed that both Branning sisters have now had relationship with psycho 'gay' men.

nancy75 · 01/06/2016 21:54

I saw Lauren today (well the actress) shopping in bluwater, she really is very pretty. I also saw Christian in John Lewis he is much shorter than I expected. Must have been an eastenders day out to bluwater!

MrsJayy · 01/06/2016 22:00

Christian looks lanky is he not?

nancy75 · 01/06/2016 22:04

I thought he would be really really tall and massively muscley but he just wasn't as big as I expected ( that sounds really quite rude!)

ArtfulPuss · 02/06/2016 09:35

Considering all the fuss Ian and Jane made over Cindy's baby, it's a bit odd that he doesn't appear to have even noticed Louie.

harverina · 02/06/2016 14:10

Why doesn't Ian just tell Stephen to get lost?! They have no connection now - I would understand him being torn of Stephen was actual family but he isn't his dad and he was awful to Jane.

I think Ian will fight for Jane. He probably just felt like he had had enough.

I wonder if the police will think that Ian's reaction is strange re Bobby? To find out your son murdered your daughter would be a huge shock and surely would illicit more of a reaction.

AndYourBirdCanSing · 02/06/2016 14:21

Yes that's true about Ian's lack of reaction and what the police will make of it!

I can't take Steven seriously anyway with that bloody awful haircut. Didn't Ian believe he was his biological son for a long time?
Can't remember.

Christian will always be Rum Tum Tugger to me. Wasted on the square that one, get him back in a Cats costume pronto! Grin

hippiedays · 02/06/2016 14:56

I'd say the police had a good idea that Ian and Jane knew more than they were saying all along but couldn't/can't prove it. I'm guessing Bobby will say during his trial that he had told them?

nancy75 · 02/06/2016 19:54

so the drugs that Roxy has on her kitchen - don't they belong to someone?
I'm no expert but £10K of drugs is not something that people are happy for someone to hold on to for longer than necessary

Akire · 02/06/2016 20:08

I thought she gone self employed on drugs front after last time? So she bought them/stole them for market rate then now needs sell.

Guessing as she's trying go clean this means any will find them-eat them or have other wise trauma for over acting child star

Optimist1 · 02/06/2016 20:13

You've got a point there, Akire - I reckon she'll be shagging Andy when Amy finds the stash.

SerafinaScoresby · 02/06/2016 23:18

EE WRITERS, IF YOURE READING THIS: I think we've all had quite enough of the Beales for now. Adam Woodyatt is a wonderful actor but really, the whole thing has got so convoluted and unrealistic - there's only so much disbelief you can reasonably ask us to suspend...

ChipsandGuac · 03/06/2016 00:49

I haven't watched in a while so am a bit behind. But wth?! Jack can fuck for off for God knows how long and then strolls back in and Roxy can't fuck off for 5 minutes?! drug taking aside

And Jane hides the fact Bobby murdered his sister from EVERYBODY, makes Ian jump through hoops when he finds out who murdered his own daughter and then, when it all comes to light, says, "That's it! I'm leaving!"

It's stupid.

ChipsandGuac · 03/06/2016 00:50

And Kathy's acting has't improved in 20 years either.

nancy75 · 03/06/2016 00:54

Jane really is to blame for a lot of what's happened. If she had called the ambulance & police when Bobby hit Lucy he would have probably got off with a lesser charge, max wouldn't have gone to prison, cindy & Peter wouldn't have moved away to get away from lies and she wouldn't have been pushed down the stairs or clobbered with the hockey stick. It's a bit much to be blaming it all on Ian!

MagpieCursedTea · 03/06/2016 06:50

Hasn't she said its her fault though and that she's leaving as the family will be better off without her? Or have I misunderstood that?

MrsJayy · 03/06/2016 07:06

Yeah she is leaving because she thinks it is her fault (it is)

nancy75 · 03/06/2016 09:02

She knows it's her fault but everyone else seems to be blaming him!

Jasonandyawegunorts · 03/06/2016 10:05

I think the claudette scenes have been aired out of order, she was standing talking to Donna the other day, yesterday they showed the scene where they patch things up and donna is suprised to see her.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 03/06/2016 10:23

I reckon she'll be shagging Andy when Amy finds the stash.

I think the plot is more obvious than that, He will try to kill Roxy, Ronnie and jack will save her at the last moment.

The drugs plot will be forgotten.

nancy75 · 03/06/2016 10:26

I feel like a big chunk of claudette stuff has been missed, Donna & Vincent have obviously fallen out over her coming back- did I miss that or have we not seen it?Confused

nancy75 · 03/06/2016 10:29

Definitely a roxy getting kidnapped by mad builder plot coming up!
